The Shortt brothers cashed in this week. As many of you know they have been saving their change in a white and pink polka-dotted piggy bank for well over a year now. That was "Riley's bank" and the plan was that they would pay her airfare home. They took the piggy bank to the real bank this week and were pleasantly surprised that they had saved $345.91. I love it when a plan comes together!

What a wonderful way for them to participate in Riley’s adoption. Good job guys! I love the new pictures of Riley...especially the one of her sucking her thumb. She is so precious! Her big brown eyes just melt the heart! Can’t wait to hear that she is coming home!
